It might not be the club’s first, but it will be the first of its kind.
Committee member David Kelson said it was a special moment for the club.
"This is the first one we have had for netball, as it celebrates our first senior netball premiership," he said.
"Since netball was introduced in 1990, it has made it a family day on Saturday, not just a boys day.”
That premiership was the Dogs’ A reserve flag from 2007, making it a 10-year reunion, though a year late.
The reunion also marks 35 years since the reserves’ 1983 flag, and 30 years since winning the senior premiership in 1988.
Kelson said the club made sure its past successes were fittingly celebrated.
"It just honours what people have done in the past to win premierships and help the club out," he said.
"And it's about getting a lot of older players and club members back to the club.
"It's also a great chance for them to meet the current players and club members and for the two to intermingle. It might help us these days."
The celebrations start with a gathering at the club on Friday ahead of Saturday’s match and a family barbeque on Sunday.
"We probably have 60 to 70 people that I know are coming," Kelson said.
"These days not everyone lets you know what’s going on, so we will build in a buffer.
"We do always make sure that all players, club members and supporters are welcome to attend."
