That’s the revelation of Tanaya Harradine moving from goal keeper to goal shooter.
The Cats goalie netted 43 of her team’s 50 goals in Saturday’s 50-44 win over Merrivale.
Allansford coach Scott Redmond admitted the Harradine move was not deliberate. But said it’s one they are unlikely to change.
"Not having Narelle saw Tanaya step up and she has done a fantastic job," he said.
It was extra tough for Merrivale to watch Harradine dominate, with her being a former Tiger.
Merrivale coach Helen Gleeson said she was impressed by the goal shooter.
Though added she was equally impressed by her young Tiger cubs.
"Tanaya Harradine was the difference," she said.
"Even though Tatum Cassidy is only an under 15 player, she put in a pretty good effort against her I think.
"Our team does pretty good considering we only have two players over 18 on the court.
"The juniors are just here to learn.
“And hopefully when they are ready next year, when they step out of under 17s, they will be ready to even be better players.
"So the future is looking pretty bright and as a club I'd say we are on the right path."
While the Tigers are looking ahead to next season, the Cats have their eyes on playing finals.
Sitting just one win and percentage out of finals, Redmond believes his team is a strong chance.
"Our first quarter, I think we shot 16 goals, and that was our best quarter for the whole year,” he said.
“That set us up for the remainder of the game," he said.
"Our girls have been playing great netball the last five weeks.
“Which now sets us up for an assault on the finals over the next few weeks.”
