Russells Creek coach Heath Moloney said Fraser had been an outstanding player for the Power over a few seasons.
“Harry’s only 18 years old so to keep Fraser goalless was a massive effort,” he said.
“Obviously we couldn't kick goals either. The Power is a very good defensive side.
“We were happy to be competitive and get it down to our forwardline. I missed one shot and Damian Jones kicked four points.”
Moloney said that despite resting a few players, Kolora-Noorat had a host of damaging outside runners.
Kolora-Noorat coach Danny Finn said it was that cold that he would rather have been playing.
“We got through, got the job done,” he said.
“We had four or five changes Thursday night and then another three late on Saturday morning. There were players we didn’t want to risk.”
Finn said his aim was to get his players ready for the upcoming crunch games.
“Our effort and attitude were great. The mids led the way through Scott Judd, Luke McConnell and Ben Walsh,” he said.
”Harry Hall had a good battle with Ben (Fraser), he played well. It wasn’t an ideal day for a forward.
“We’re aiming for the top three and at the halfway point of the season we’ll just keep chugging along and try to fly under the radar.
“We need to be right for those big games.”
