A WARRNAMBOOL man has been remanded in custody after he was found with a traffickable amount of amphetamines.
Sergeant Rob McKellar, of Warrnambool police, said a man in his mid 30s was intercepted by police on Friday night.
“We’ve had a few concerns about recent crime trends and we’ve been focusing on that in and around Corangamite,” Sergeant McKellar said.
“Police intercepted a vehicle and found a large amount of cash and a traffickable quantity of amphetamine.”
Sergeant McKellar said the man would appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
