To mark the centenary anniversary of Warrnambool as a city the community has been invited to a celebration at Flagstaff Hill.
Gunditjmara woman Adeline McDonald has designed the message stick which includes animals, a welcome to country, an acknowledgement to Gunditjmara ancestors and clans around Warrnambool.
The centenary celebration will be held from 11am to 3pm.
Admission is free and people can enjoy a barbecue, music, children’s activities and bus tours of historic sites in Warrnambool.
