The Fuss twins were crowned champions in the Par De Deux (pairs) Regional Champion at the Quicksilver Regional Vaulting Championships, receiving praise from team co-ordinator Sharyn van Someren.
“They are absolutely amazing to watch,” she said. “They are so in sync with each other, they are a real spectacle and even the other teams and spectators commented on how good they were to watch.”
Seven-year-old rider Dixie Boekhout (Preliminary Regional Champion) and 17-year-old international-level rider Lisa van Someren (Intermediate Regional Champion) were also standouts for the Warrong-based Equestrian club over the two-day competition.
The club also competed for the first time in the squad freestyle class with their debut in the class capped off with a win and confidence for nationals in October.
