PARTY animals at Hamilton are almost $1600 out-of-pocket after being issued with two tickets for having a noisy stereo on Monday night.

Hamilton police attended a home in Kenny Street four times later Monday night.
"Every time we left they turned the stereo up again," a police spokesman said.
So, police twice issued penalty notices under the EPA Act - each for $793.
"People have a right to play music at a reasonable level. This was clearly not reasonable and was having a very negative impact on neighbours," the police officer said.
