The Need for Feed convoy will arrive in Camperdown on Saturday and fodder will be distributed to farms around Coden, Terang and Penshurst.
Need for Feed co-ordinator Graham Cockerall said fodder loads were coming from South Australia and across Victoria.
It is the second convoy to arrive in Camperdown since last month’s fires. Mr Cockerall said about 30 to 40 trucks and vehicles were on their way and people were keen to help those who were affected. “The interest is there and the need’s there,” Mr Cockerall said.
He said oaten hay, clover hay and some silage was enroute from South Australia and convoys were also leaving from Gippsland and the Goulburn Valley.
Mr Cockerall said there were people who had not yet asked for fodder relief and encouraged them to register with the Victorian Farmers Federation on 1300 882 833 or Graham on 0459 444 111.
