Port Fairy residents and holiday makers will be spoilt for choice this weekend with a range of Easter activities on offer.

The Lions Club of Port Fairy-Belfast will hold its annual Easter Fair at Railway Place on Easter Saturday.
Member Henry Toller-Bond invited the public to come and enjoy a wide range of activities including face painting, pony rides, Irish dancing, an Easter raffle, handball competition and crayfish spins.
He said the annual car boot sale would be a feature and encouraged anyone having a clean up at home to book a stall.
There will also be projects for children to get involved in with the Hamilton Wood Turners and Bunnings Warrnambool hosting activities.
“This year we will also be including a Lion’s tent where from 10am the Lions eye health program will be explaining about eye disease and there will a diabetes prevention educator available to talk to from 11am,” Mr Toller-Bond said.

As part of the fair the Port Fairy Visitor Information Centre will host Easter competitions. These include an egg decorating competition for children aged under four years, four – 10 years and 10+.
There will also be a people’s choice award and Moyne Shire major award. Entry is $2.
In another competition a chocolate egg will be awarded to the person who can guess how many small toy chickens are in a jar. Entry is 50 cents.
Eagle-eyed shoppers are invited to search for the same small toy chickens which have been hidden in shop windows around the town.
The person with the correct answer or closest to it will win a prize. Entry is 50 cents. To enter any of the above competitions go to the Port Fairy Visitor Information Centre at Railway Place.
The Easter Bunny will be hopping around Port Fairy across the weekend. On Saturday he will be at Railway Place at 10.30am and 1pm and on the Fiddlers Green at 3.30pm. On Sunday he will be on the Fiddlers Green at 11.30am and 3.30pm.
In another weekend event, the Port Fairy Lighthouse will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. It is one of few weekends the historic lighthouse is available to tour. Cost is $5 per adult, $1 per child or $10 for a family.
