The workshop at Agriculture Victoria’s Warrnambool offices in Raglan Parade will tell cattle producers how to do a property-to-property transfer and when to use a post breeder (orange) NLIS tag.
Agriculture Victoria said traceability of stock movements was important to maintain market access and manage disease outbreaks. To maintain traceability, livestock tagged with an electronic NLIS tag need to be transferred on the NLIS database when they are moved between two different Property Identification Codes.
