The Warriors have risen from wooden spooners to fourth in the space of 12 months.
They will play reigning Grassmere Cricket Association premier Killarney in a cut-throat final next weekend.
Woolsthorpe captain Andrew Bridge said the Warriors had “improved out of sight”.
“From where we have come from our first year in A grade to this year has been exceptional,” he said.
“It’s been good for the guys who have been at the club for so long and have worked hard to start to get the reward.
“Last year was a learning curve and this year we’ve recruited a couple of blokes and they’ve passed more knowledge.”
Bridge said Killarney was the pace-setter, describing finals as a bonus for Woolsthorpe.
“They outrighted us in round two so they are going in as favourites,” he said.
“It was one of those days batting – I think they rolled us for 30 in the first innings.
“(Cricket’s) a funny game. We have gelled more. We’ve got new players and everyone knows how everyone operates.”
Bridge praised experienced recruits Stephen Blacker and Jason Alberts for their contributions to the Warriors’ rise.
Hawkesdale, which was runner-up last season, and premiership powerhouse Panmure will meet in the other semi-final.
