Entitled Free to be Every Me her illustrations represent the possibility of a world in which gender equality is "the norm".
Coinciding with the 16 days of Activism campaign, Ms Murphy's seven illustrated female characters represent the variety of women in society.
Each are adorned in a range of outfits, hairstyles and body movements.
"They represent all women," Ms Murphy said. "All different body shapes, skin colour, hair and clothes.”
Her artwork joins the National Go Orange campaign aimed at preventing violence against women.
"I've been lucky to have been surrounded by empowering men and women all my life," Ms Murphy said. "Violence against women is something I don’t see everyday but I believe its important to remove all forms of inequality so we can all be who we are."
Ms Murphy’s design will be displayed on the outside of the Warrnambool Art Gallery until December 16.
