A record crowd of about 6000 people attended Saturday’s Noorat show as it built upon its reputation as a quintessential vibrant country show.

The event was graced with fine sunny weather and people queued for tens of metres along Mackinnons Bridge Road to get into the show.
Show secretary Ms Vicki Marr said the show enjoyed outstanding support from its surrounding community and its diversity of events also drew people from far and wide.
Many events had evolved over time to revitalise interest such as the Beaut Ute competition that had expanded into a Show ‘n’ Shine presenting a variety of vehicles. Entries in many competitions were up.
