The cruise will include muscle cars, vintage cars, highly modified cars as well as motorbikes and trucks.
Organiser Tim Brown of Camperdown said about 100 vehicles would take the two and a half hour cruise from Geelong to Warrnambool, arriving about 12.30pm on Saturday with a prime mover leading the convoy.
Among the vehicles in the cruise is a highly modified Commodore from Camperdown that has a wide screen television, complete with X-Box, that pops up in the boot when it is opened.
The cruise will stop at Premier Speedway where the vehicles will be on display for a Show ‘n’ Shine competition.
The cruise raises money for mental health organisation Beyond Blue and entry for the public will be by gold coin donation.
Mr Brown said there will also be children’s entertainment at the speedway with a free jumping castle and giveaways.
This year is the second time Mr Brown has run the cruise and he said it was attracting support from motoring enthusiasts across the state.
Mr Brown, himself a motoring enthusiast, started the event to support Beyond Blue after he was affected by the suicide of a Camperdown man in recent years who was in similar circumstances to his own.
Mr Brown said he had his own battles with depression over the years and wanted to do something to combat the large number of suicides.
