Guest speaker Melbourne AFLW player Shelly Scott, who runs a dairy farm near Colac, talked about trying to balance the work of running a farm with the challenges of playing football at the highest level.
Former television presenter Catriona Rowntree also entertained the attendees.
“This is a great chance for women to have a day off-farm, and socialise and catch up,” said WestVic Dairy chair Simone Renyard.
“Women are often the backbone of our businesses.”
Ms Renyard added that events such as the lunch provide a chance for women to have a day off and to celebrate their success.
