Finch said the experienced Sinnott was the Magpies’ best in their 69-40 belting of Hamilton Kangaroos in Hampden league netball action on Saturday.
“She was outstanding at wing attack; she played a blinder, ” he said.
“She’s so clever with what she does with the ball, with little fakes and things to get her opponents off the ball and then she’ll pop it into space and the girls (goalers Jaymie and Emily Finch) can walk into it.”
Finch was pleased with the Magpies’ four-quarter effort against the Roos – a feat which helped boost strengthen their grasp of second spot with a round to play.
“We were continually building all day,” he said.
“I kept reinforcing to the girls not to take their foot off the pedal because we can do that.”
In other games, Terang Mortlake issued top-placed Koroit with a challenge.
The Bloods were only five goals down at half-time before the experienced Saints scooted away to keep their undefeated record in tact, winning 49-34. Portland produced a 69-44 win over South Warrnambool.
