In light of National Tree Day, a Reveg the Flume planting event will be open to anyone who wants to pitch in from 10am to midday, followed by a free barbecue.
Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare Network volunteer Erin Gundry said an annual effort to revegetate the Flume area over a decade had been successful.
“There are areas where you can see it’s regrown and it looks amazing,” she said.
Ms Gundry said the event usually attracted about 100 participants.
"It’s good for the community to come and see the hard working paying off in a place they can come and enjoy,” Ms Gundry said.
