The 17-year-old smashed found the net three times to lift the Jones Oval club beyond mid-table Vic Park last Sunday in his first outing since breaking his hand last month.
He is eyeing a strong shift as Rangers prepare for a road trip to face struggling Creswick on Sunday.
“There’s only three points from first to fifth, so it’s a really tight competition at the moment,” Bail said.
“We definitely should be finishing top if we win each game at the moment. We’ve got a couple of easier fixtures and a couple of tough ones ahead.
“We’ve got three at home out of the last five, so it should be a good (result).”
Bail, who has bagged eight goals from eight outings, said the team was flourishing with a number of avenues to goal.
“Even with Isaac Slater (travelling) at the moment, the team has been so strong,” he said.
“Our squad is so strong, and Isaac will be back in a few weeks so our team is nearly full-strength. It’s awesome.”
He said he was nearing peak fitness despite a bout of illness last weekend.
“I was feeling pretty crook last week, actually. The team managed to get the win and that is all that matters in the end,” he laughed.
“(The hand) is all good and back together now. It’s feeling good. I should be able to finish off this season without breaking anything, at least.”
