Mr Kelly, 37, has been interviewed by police and charged with an aggravated burglary and armed robbery that was allegedly committed at a Warrnambool Fitzroy Road address about 4am on Monday.
He appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court, did not apply for bail and he was remanded in custody to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court via a video link on October 6.
WEDNESDAY: WARRNAMBOOL police are calling for public help to locate a man after an armed robbery during which a victim was slashed with a knife.
Detective Senior Constable Wayne Ryan, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, requested anyone with information in relation to 37-year-old Dominic Kelly’s whereabouts to contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
There has been an active police whereabouts lookout for Mr Kelly after an aggravated burglary and armed robbery at a Warrnambool house early Monday morning.
Police believe Mr Kelly will be able to assist them in relation to the incident.
An armed robbery was allegedly committed at a Fitzroy Road address at 4am on Monday.
A victim was slashed with a knife and received superficial wounds.
His silver Holden sedan was also stolen.
