EXPERIENCED leaders continue to set the pace for Port Fairy after it broke free in the second half to beat Cobden. Sandy Robinson was best afield, while Dan Nicholson kicked five goals. Scores were level at the first two breaks, but Port Fairy booted nine goals to five in the second half, winning 17.7 (109) to 13.8 (86).
