Newly appointed chairman Nick Rule told The Standard late last month the pool was only weeks away from completion after funding was approved for the project more than a year ago.
But trouble with the design of the pool has surfaced forcing the club to attain the engineers report.
Club chief executive Peter Downs said he was confident the report would be finished by June 14.
“We can't resume works until we get the engineers report,” Downs said.
“The report will contain five different scenarios we can use to finish off the pool including whether it's fully concreted walls or pre-cast u-shape concrete for the walls.”
The Andrews government has invested $50,000 into the pool project with the WRC and Racing Victoria each investing $25,000 into the facility.
