The 34-year-old will play a one-off match with the Rams ahead of a sportsman night for the club, which will also feature Ricky Nixon.
Glenthompson-Dunkeld coach Damien Logan said Kerr – who had to withdraw from lining up for Dennington two weeks ago due to a bulging disk in his back – had played a game on the weekend just gone and would be right to go for the match on Saturday.
“We don’t expect him to win the game or anything like that,” Logan said.
“It’ll just be a great experience for our young playing group to play with a former AFL player who was one of the greatest midfielders going around.
“Whatever they can learn from him … hopefully it’ll hold them in good stead for the rest of their careers.”
Logan said the Rams would look to “rectify” a poor performance in last week’s loss to Hawkesdale-Macarthur when they take on the Bombers at Dunkeld on Saturday.
