North Ballarat-listed tall Shannon Beks will line up for his home club against Koroit at Victoria Park on Saturday.
Roosters coach Mathew Buck said Beks, who made his VFL debut last week, would provide a key target.
“He’s an 18-19 year-old kid who had a great year last year for (Greater Western Victoria) Rebels and made Vic Country and now he’s managed to get himself on a VFL list,” he said.
Beks comes into the South Warrnambool side along with former AFL midfielder Josh Saunders, who is expected to stretch Koroit’s midfield with his running capabilities.
Meanwhile, Hampden’s interleague clash has been moved from the Holden Centre – Collingwood’s training base – to Casey Fields.
The Magpies cited ground condition for the switch. The Jonathan Brown-coached Bottle Greens will play South East.
