Ben Humphries, 25, of Gorie Close, Hawker, in the ACT, successfully applied for bail in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He has to provide a $20,000 surety after being charged with possessing and trafficking ecstasy.
The case was adjourned to a further hearing on June 5.
Family members drove from the ACT to attend the bail application.
In other hearings, James Cameron, 41, of Sturt Street, Koroit, was remanded in custody until May 19.
He has indicated he will plead guilty to a number of offences, including breaching an intervention order, and did not apply for bail.
Daniel Pill, 27, previously of Glenormiston, was also remanded in custody until May 19 after being arrested on four outstanding police warrants of apprehension.
He did not apply for bail and his new offending includes charges of recklessly causing injury, breaching an intervention order and failing to appear in court.
His other outstanding matters include charges of breaching an intervention orders, possession of drugs and theft.
