Robinson held off advances from Marion Venn, Lauren Higgins and Alison Sinclair to claim the prestigious title.
She shot 85 on Wednesday to take her overall championship score to 258 off the tee, just four less than the second-placed Marion Venn.
Robinson said she clinched the victory on the back of strong long-range putting.
“It was tough out there. You do get a bit nervous,” she told The Standard.
“I had to play well today. I just went out trying to get my pars. I tried to play my game which is essential.
“I wanted to focus on my game and on what I was doing, instead of worrying about what everybody else was doing.
“I only put it in the trees once and I sunk a couple of long-range putts over the course of the day which helped me keep the other players at bay.”
The 61-year-old described the second round of the championship, in which she shot a score of 84, as integral to victory in the three-round tournament.
“In the middle round, I wanted to get in front. I needed to play well in that second round to set myself up a little bit,” she said.
“It’s the first time I’ve won since 2010. The course is in fabulous condition and the greens are fairly fast, which I like quite a lot.
“It’s a bit scary out there with the wind, but it was okay. It was very windy out there, last week was the best weather and in the first week, it was very hot.”
Robinson’s victory came on the back of a Port Fairy Golf Links club championship in 2016.
It marked her second consecutive club championship victory on the course, after taking out the 2015 event.
In B grade, youngster Alana Ellery topped the field with a score of 291 across the three rounds. She shot scores of 102, 94 and 95 to lift the crown.
Her victory was by just two shots after runner-up Beryl Orake shot three scores under 100 to finish with a total of 293.
Maida Gilbert was the C grade club champion, shooting a score of 325 to top the field.
She posted totals of 107 in both the second and third round to come away with the triumph.
Former schoolteacher Tricia Blakeslee came in second behind Gilbert after a tournament best 103 in Wednesday’s final round.
She was let down by a second round score of 116 but sliced 13 shots off her score to take the runner-up gong on Wednesday.
