Kearney rewarded for stellar season with Western Bulldogs

SOUTH-West export Emma Kearney was named in the inaugural AFL Women’s All Australian Team on Tuesday night. The Cavendish product earned a spot on the wing in the 22-woman team, which was unveiled at the W Awards. Kearney was a force in the Western Bulldogs’ midfield in the first season of the AFLW, averaging 21.4 disposals – the fourth most in the league – and laying nearly three tackles a game.
