Koroit has been without a doctor since late last year when the Jamieson Clinic redrew from the town.
The new clinic will open at the site of the former Jamieson Clinic on Monday.
The building has undergone renovations to accommodate the needs of the new clinic.
Dr Andrew Gault from Port Fairy Medical Clinic was excited about setting up the practice in Koroit.
“It has been a bit of a rush, but we are keen to get things happening,” Dr Gault said.
“We will see how it goes.
“Hopefully it is a service the Koroit community embraces.”
Dr Eleanor Donelan will be on duty all day on Mondays while Dr Lori Cameron is based at Koroit on Tuesday afternoons, Dr Ian Sutherland on Wednesday mornings and Dr Judy Carson on Thursday mornings.
The clinic in Port Fairy will operate as normal.
