Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said the woman, aged in her 20s, had suffered neck, shoulder and pelvic injuries in the fall.
He said the woman was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Paramedics were called to a property on McKinlay Street about 9.50am.
