The Peterborough History Group will be showing the footage, taken by diver Ron Cashmore about 30 years ago, on Wednesday January 4.
Amateur maritime historian Rex Mathieson, who worked with Mr Cashmore, said the footage showed remains of the vessel, which was wrecked on Boxing Day 1855 due to navigational error.
“You can see the marine growth around the wreck,” Mr Mathieson said. “It gives you insight into what a shipwreck looks like.”
Mr Mathieson said the Schomberg was the second earliest ship to be wrecked on the south-west coast.
More than 500 passengers on board the ship survived the incident.
The event is being held from 6pm at the Peterborough Community Centre and requires a gold coin donation.
