The three-day event, to begin on Friday, was abandoned due to the “very wet ground condition and safety concerns to all patrons and exhibitors”.
The Colac & District Pastoral & Agricultural Society committee announced the move on its website last month, stating it had “made the extremely difficult decision” to cancel the event. The committee thanked volunteers and supporters and said it looked forward to the 2017 event.
