Bourke will be joined by B Grade captain Aaron Carlin for the 2016-17 season.
Bourke will replace Mark Clissold as captain at the South West Cricket club.
Bourke, a standout batsman for Boorcan last season, notched up 712 runs across all competitions last season, averaging 39.56 runs a game.
He chipped in with no less than seven half-centuries, with a high score of 86, and snared 25 wickets with an average of 18.24.
Noorat president David Roberts said he was excited about the potential Bourke had shown at Boorcan.
“We looked around a bit and somebody mentioned Gus was keen to play division one. We knew he was a good cricketer for Boorcan, so we floated the idea and he was happy to come across,” he said.
