The five candidates who will stand for the seat of Wannon at the July 2 federal election have been confirmed by the Australian Electoral Commission.

The five candidates were the Liberal Party’s incumbent, Dan Tehan, Labor’s Michael Barling, the Australian Greens’ Thomas Campbell and two independents, Bernardine Atkinson and Michael McCluskey.
Labor’s Mr Barling drew the number one spot on the ballot paper, followed by Mr Campbell, Mr Tehan, Dr Atkinson and Mr McCluskey.
At the 2013 federal election seven candidates stood for the division of Wannon.
