The club donated the systems after hearing about the challenges drivers had trying to locate addresses.
Port Fairy ambulance acting team manager Mike Cornett spoke about the difficulties they faced at a community ladder safety session in April.
“Particularly when you get in the area outside Port Fairy onto some of these farms, some of the roads aren't marked, never mind the addresses on them,” Mr Cornett said.
“It can mean a big difference. It's really important we be able to locate people.”
The Lions club members suggested they purchase the GPSs and said it was vital drivers had up-to-date systems to help them perform their job.
The GPS maps can be updated and cost $160 each.
Mr Cornett thanked the club for their ongoing support. “They've been terrific to us.” he said.
