Liam Keegan snared the Victorian under 18 boys’ title in Melbourne on Sunday – nine months after winning his first Australian championship in the same age group.
Keegan, 15, finished runner-up the past two years.
The Brauer College went undefeated in his nine games on his way to a maiden state crown.
Keegan will now turn his attention to defending his national championship in New South Wales in August.
He won his first Australian title at home in Warrnambool in August 2015, going through the tournament with an unblemished record.
He will represent Indoor Bowls Warrnambool in the Ballarat Inter Group Championships on the June long weekend alongside experienced pair Graham Firth and Brian Lenehan in the men’s triples.
