One of those people was Warrnambool’s Richard Pritchard, who was part of the team that comes under the banner of production design – one of the six categories the blockbuster won Oscars in.
“It was amazing,” Pritchard said of the win.
“It’s one of those things where it’s a huge collaboration. Colin received the award (on behalf) of the huge amount of people and thoughts and ideas.”
“It was three or four years ago when I was involved,” he said.
Mad Max: Fury Road won Oscars for production design, film editing, costume design, makeup and hairstyling, sound mixing and sound editing.
