Live music entertained the crowd and restaurants and cafes set up food stalls at the front of their businesses.
Scottish visitors Roseanne and James McKecnhie enjoyed their first Wunta event, with their son Mark, a school teacher now living in Brisbane.
The McKechnies are touring Australia during their 10-week vacation.
Events on Saturday’s program include Jazz in the Gardens from 12.30 at Warrnambool Botanic Gardens and a screening of Oddball at Lake Pertobe from 6.30pm.
On Sunday A Day at the Lake will showcase local music from noon at Lake Pertobe.
