Pettigrew, 25, competed in the multi-class section at the Sydney-based competition, which wrapped up on Saturday.
Warrnambool coach Jayson Lamb said Pettigrew performed strongly in a variety of disciplines.
Her best results were seventh in both the 50-metre breaststroke and 50-metre butterfly finals.
“She did some PBs and made some finals which was brilliant,” Lamb said.
Pettigrew is enjoying a solid season in the pool.
She competed alongside fellow Warrnambool swimmer Caitlyn Mackay at the Global Games in Ecaudor in October.
Pettigrew won gold in the 4x200m freestyle relay at the Global Games, a competition for athletes with an intellectual disability.
Lamb said she worked hard spending countless hours at practice and thoroughly deserved her results.
“Once you hit her age improvements are a lot smaller but she is still making small improvements,” he said.
Warrnambool will send a team to the Victorian age championships in Melbourne from December 12 to 17.
Many of the club’s swimmers are aiming for qualifying times for the Bendigo-based country championships in January.
