The pair guided – Twaddle in a non-playing capacity and Murfett as a playing mentor – the Eagles to a semi-final in their first season at the helm.
Eagles president Pat Doran said the Bushfield-based club was thrilled to secure its coaching panel so early into the off-season, allowing it to focus on player retainment and recruitment.
“We want to build on what we were doing in 2015 and build some continuity,” he said.
“We’re getting on the front foot so you don’t lose time. They know the playing list.
“We know what we need to do going forward and what we need to target and those two guys are enthusiastic about it.”
Doran said the Eagles’ playing group backed the reappointment.
“It was quite a popular decision,” he said.
