Wannon MP Dan Tehan was pleased Prime Minister Tony Abbott had accepted his invitation to tour his electorate.
“I’m delighted to confirm the Prime Minister will be visiting Wannon on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning,” Mr Tehan said.
“The purpose of the visit is to launch the Agricultural White Paper, which will take place on a farm in the Warrnambool region. Obviously, this is a huge honour for Western Victoria to be selected for this launch.”
Liberal Party member Jim Lane said Mr Abbott had been a strong leader since the Coalition’s 2013 victory.
“It will be great to meet with the Prime Minister in person,” he said.
