POLICE have revealed that the pipe bomb found out the front of Brauer College last week "had the potential to cause serious harm".

It is understood Warrnambool police received information from the public which has led to further investigations.
A Victoria Police media liaison spokeswoman said on Monday that Arson and Explosive Squad detectives were investigating the discovery of a suspected improvised explosive device in Warrnambool on May 12.
"As the investigation remains active and ongoing it would be inappropriate to comment further," she said..
The device was destroyed in a controlled explosion later that night.
It is understood that tests have been conducted on the remains of the pipe bomb, but police are not releasing information about what it contained.
