Mar Gattek (South Warrnambool), Joe McKinnon and Connor Templeton (North Warrnambool Eagles), Trent Reed (Cobden), Andrew Moloney (Hawks), Aaron Shepherd (West Portland), Lukas Essenwanger (South Rovers), Harrison Hobbs (Deakin University) and Billy Galpin (Casterton-Sandford) were all selected for the three-game competition. Coleraine’s Sam Tooley and Casterton-Sandford’s Ben Guthrie were among three emergencies selected.
North Ballarat Rebels’ under 16s will start their campaign on March 29 against Geelong Falcons at Kardinia Park.
It is a curtain-raiser to the two clubs’ TAC Cup season-opener. The under 16 Rebels will also play Bendigo Pioneers at Epsom Huntly Reserve on Good Friday and Dandenong Stingrays at Bendigo’s Queen Elizabeth Oval on April 10.
