On Friday the Moyneyana Festival, Moyne Health Services and Moyne Shire Council partnered to stage a health and well-being expo in the town with activities including yoga, belly dancing, highland dancing, line dancing and chair-based exercises.
Health professionals were on hand to speak about their field of expertise and answer questions from patrons. It was the second year the expo has been held with Friday’s event recording a huge jump in crowd numbers.
Moyneyana Festival chairman Reg Harry said the expo was a welcome addition to the festival.
“We were very pleased with the attendance and the day was very well received by a wide range of people,” Mr Harry said, indicating it would become a regular part of the Moyneyana program.
