AN 18-year-old Port Lincoln man has been charged with possessing a controlled drug for sale after he was caught with ecstasy tablets at the Victor Harbor Schoolies Festival on Friday night.

A 17-year-old from Glanville has also been charged and both men were bailed to appear in the Victor Harbor Magistrates Court in January.
One person was taken to hospital after allegedly taking ecstasy on Friday night.
Officer in Charge of the Hills Fleurieu Police Superintendent Rob Williams said, "While the majority of school leavers are well behaved and are enjoying the festival, I want to warn the public to be aware if you decide to take illicit drugs you are putting your life at risk".
Police made nine arrests and reported three people on Friday night at the festival.
Thirty-nine people were fined for drinking in a dry zone, nine of those were non schoolies.
Seven people including one non schoolie were arrested for behavioural offences.
Three people were reported, two for being minors in possession of alcohol in a dry zone and one for property damage.
