Eales was crowned the league best and fairest winner, taking out the W. J. Lewis Medal at Lake Bolac. The former Warrnambool and Stawell midfielder polled 23 votes to edge out Hawkesdale-Macarthur ruckman Lachlan Reichman on 21 votes.
Tatyoon’s Damian Cameron was third with 20 votes.
Penshurst’s Len Cooper took out the reserves best and fairest with 21 votes, ahead of Lismore-Derrinallum’s Clinton Dudman on 18 votes and Wickliffe-Lake Bolac’s Tim Blake, 17.
Ararat Eagles’ Ben Robertson won the under 16 best and fairest with 30 votes, two ahead of Hawkesdale-Macarthur’s Lachlan Tanner.
