THIEVES forced open a roller door at a Warrnambool business late last week and carried away a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detective Senior Constable Peter-Jon Wellington, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said offenders forced entry through a roller door at PlastaMasta in Raglan Parade overnight last Thursday.
He said they then ransacked the office and stolen small amount of money from a cash box before carrying off a 60 kilogram safe measuring about 50cms square.
Detective Senior Constable Wellington declined to reveal how much cash the safe contained.
The thieves caused about $200 damage to the roller door and the safe is valued at about $800.
