Central Hunter target action group detectives swooped on the Alkira Avenue residence on Tuesday and allegedly found a mass of equipment.
Crime manager Detective Inspector John Zdrilic asked possible crime victims to be patient as police sort through the goods before attempting to claim them.
About 4pm on Tuesday, a 48-year-old man was stopped returning from Sydney to Cessnock and allegedly found with six grams of heroin.
A police statement said officers allegedly seized a large quantity of suspected stolen power tools, cannabis leaf and cannabis seeds at the Alkira Avenue home.
The man has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug, supplying a prohibited drug – indictable amount, receiving stolen goods, four counts of supplying prohibited drugs and supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Cessnock Local Court on August 13.
