MORE than 1000 customers lost power in Warrnambool on Monday morning after a truck collided with a power pole on Swinton Street.

The pole and power lines were knocked over in the incident, which happened about 10.45am,
Two CFA units attended and an ambulance transported the driver to Warrnambool Base Hospital for observation.
It is believed he was not injured in the collision.
Powercor estimated customer supply would be reconnected by 3.30pm.
