Leishman posted a four-under par 68 in this morning's second round of the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.
After a one-under 71 in the first round, Leishman is at five-under, tied for 10th, seven shots behind leader, Englishman Paul Casey.
Leishman made a flying start to his second round, he birdied his first at the par-four 10th and then made an eagle three at the par-five 11th.
Like many in the field, Leishman had a roller-coaster day on the tough layout. He made two eagles, four birdies and four bogeys in his 68. First round leader, Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy, carded a six-over 78, 15 shots worse than his opening 63. He finished at three-under, three inside the cut line of even par.
World number one, Queensland's Adam Scott, is also at five-under alongside Leishman after posting a two-under 70.
