However, periodic traffic disruptions will continue until the end of next month as part of a $3 million project to reduce flooding to more than 750 properties and 100 buildings.
Warrnambool City infrastructure development and projects manager Justin Hinch said motorists had been patient.
“Diversions worked well and people were understanding,” he said.
