The cross-party Rural and Regional Committee is now chaired by Member for Western Victoria David O’Brien.
He urged interested people to get involved by attending the hearing or making a submission.
“Our regional products — goods and services — are in demand all over the world,” Mr O’Brien said.
“Increasing exports of these goods and services will be of great benefit to all Victorians.”
He described the current economic climate as “an extremely important time” for primary industries, education and tourism exporters, with significant growth opportunities.
The Hamilton meeting will be held at the Martin J. Hynes Auditorium from 1pm tomorrow.
People wanting to make submissions should lodge them by April 17.
